About

I'm Dave Lukeski. I live in Connecticut — currently New Milford, soon Watertown — with my wife and our dog. I work in the construction industry as an estimator, commercial roofing.

Outside of work, you can find me putting my left foot in front of the right foot on repeat as I continue my running journey, viewing the world through the lens of one of my cameras, slinging discs across fields and through the woods playing disc golf, and following soccer with more passion than is probably reasonable. I'm a USMNT homer, always tuning in for AC Milan matches, keeping tabs on Palmeiras (special shoutout to Cesar and Rogerio), and relishing in the chaos that is the Premier League — which also means pulling my hair out every week with FPL.

I listen to a lot of music. Streaming, vinyl, live shows — though not as many shows as I used to. Phish is the center of that world. Vulfpeck and Khruangbin round out the heavy rotation, with a steady flow of sounds and grooves from everywhere else filling in the gaps. I probably drink too much espresso, care deeply about how things are built, and my wife and I are slowly turning a house into something that feels like home.

This site is my personal corner of the internet. Not a portfolio. Not a brand. Just a place to put the things I care about — my interests, hobbies, photos, music, sport, our renovation diary — somewhere I own. Free from the clutches of algorithms and feeds.

Take some time to explore. Drop a line in the Guestbook — say hello, or just let me know you were here.

This is a work in progress. Things will appear and disappear without notice. As I learn more, features and sections will come and go.

Come waste your time with me.
